Gas Drying

Efficient drying of technical gases, crude gas and air is realized by means of temperature swing adsorption (TSA).

Melting points of less than -80 °C are possible. Two adsorption tanks are necessary for the continuous operation of a TSA plant: One gets loaded while the second one desorbs.

Compared to PSA plants (pressure swing adsorption) TSA plants simply need thermal energy, which is less cost-intensive than compression energy.

ADSORPTION

Temperature cycling adsorption is also used for gas purification, e.g. to eliminate process gases out of CO2/Carbon Dioxide or Methane.
